Good Morning Friends….

For inspiration Wednesday for Heartfelt Creations, I have a Sweet Birthday Wishes card to share. The tag from Album Tag and Accent Die is really very versatile. I have used this tag in many of my cards but tried using it in several different ways. The tag die creates a wonderful space to create window shaker cards.

Instructions: To create a side fold card measuring 6″ by 8 1/2″, cut a smooth white card stock 12″ by 8 1/2″ and score n crease at 6″. Choose the paper from the paper collection and create the first layer 1/8″ smaller on all the four sides of ready card size.

Choose a paper from Sugar Spun Collection and chop it measuring 5″ by 7 1/2″, distress all the sides and glue it on white cardstock making a delicate border of white on all the four sides. Using tag die from Album Tags and Accents Die set and die cutting machine, create a window. Glue acetate sheet to create a clear window and add dimensions using foam tape. Cut 2 die cuts using Petite Pocket Accents Die and adhere one each on top and bottom of the window as shown.

Stamp the images from Sprinkled Confetti Cupcakes Cling Stamp and Sweet Shoppe Treats Cling Stamp Set Set with black archival ink, digits with colored archival inks and cut all of them using their coordinating dies. Color all the images using Zig Clean Clear Brush Markers, For color blending use watercolor brush. Stack and glue extra 2 die cuts to add extra strength to the painted embellishments. Create extra dimensions using foam dots for larger cupcakes.

Stamp the sentiment from Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set with blue inks and also glue the digits as shown. Close the ready window on the card base by removing the releasing tape of the foam tape

Once all the elements are ready, assemble the card as shown and complete the card by adding glitter
detailing and tags hanging with twine as shown.
