Instructions: The ready top-fold card from smooth white cardstock measures, 7 1/2″ by 7 1/2″. Choose the paper from the designer paper collection, Cottage Garden Collection and cut an eyelet square using outer most die from Stairway Gardens Die Set. Also, cut 2 white die cuts using the Ornamental Tags Die set. Layer both as shown using foam tape. Again choose the paper and cut to size measuring 7″ by 7″ creating the first mat for the card front. Finally, put together all the layers and adhere them to the ready card panel.

Cut 2 die cuts from golden mirror sheet using Ornamental Tags Die and stack them together back to back as shown to create a beautiful banner, On top adhere a white sentiment cut from the same die set. Shape the banner gently with your finger. Cut a circle from the pattern paper using Circle Basics Large Die set. Layer the golden banner on top of the circle die cut and finally adhere it on the card panel as shown.

Stamp the images from Cottage Window & Hydrangea Cling Stamp Set using black archival ink and cut the images using their coordinating die. Simply color the images using archival ink Magenta Hue and Leaf Green. Glue one extra layer on the back for extra strength.

Stamp two images of medium size Hydrangea twig from Fresh Cut Hydrangea Cling Stamp Set using Cactus Flower, Forget Me Not and Olive Green archival ink and cut it using it’s coordinating die. Also, stamp and cut the loose Hydrangeas of both sizes multiple times and cut them using it’s coordinating die as well. Paint them using Forget Me Not and Cactus Flower. Do color the back as well. Soak the petals in water for a few seconds in a bowl of water, damp them with a dry cloth and shape them using golf groove tools. Once shaped, press the center from the front. Pierce the center and glue tiny pollen.

To prepare the Hydrangea mounds, color the stamped Hydrangea using Forget me Not and Cactus Flower and shape the mound from the back. Next, fill the mound gluing shaped Hydrangeas. The leaves of the stem are painted using leaf green and Olive Green Archival ink.

Finally, assemble the card as shown. Add a little sparkle and finish the card by adding a sentiment from the paper collection.
