Good Morning Friends!!

For today’s inspiration, I have a simple yet elegant slimline card to share. I am using You are a Blessing Etched Dies from the Right Words Collection by Amazing Paper Grace as a focus. This set of eight thin metal cutting dies creates a sweet floral motif that can be framed around your choice of sentiment in the set. Sending encouragement to someone who needs it.

The very first thing that came to my mind looking at this die was to try inlay of die cuts. The floral motif is just so perfect for the inlay work.

The top fold slim line card from smooth white cardstock measures 4 1/2″ by 9 1/2″. To
prepare the card base, cut a piece of cardstock measuring 9″ by 9 1/2″ and score it at
4 1/2″ on 9″ side. Crease and fold well.

Prepare two layers of panels cut using large and medium fluted die sets from Fluted Classics
Slimline Etched Dies. Mat them separately on silver cardstocks making a sleek border all around
the panel. Score the top panel with the help of a bone folder each time at 1/16″

Cut two pieces of flowers from silver cardstock using You are a Blessing Etched Dies and keep all
the negatives intact. Cut two more pieces of only outline die cuts using the same die set and
glue it on silver flowers cut previously. Layer these flowers to decorate the corners of the top
panel.
Finish the card by adding a sentiment from Thank you for your Kindness Etched Dies and vellum
butterfly from Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters 5 x 7″ Card Base Etched Dies.
