Good evening, friends!!

In November, some birds move away and some birds stay. The air is full of goodbyes and well-wishes. The birds who are leaving look very serious. No silly spring chirping now. They have long journeys and must watch where they are going. The staying birds are serious, too, for cold times lie ahead. Hard times. All berries will be treasures.

The birds are so adorable. I loved the Sugarplum Tweets Etched Dies from the Christmas Flourish Collection by Becca Feeken…..so perfect to make Christmas and Holiday cards. I have combined this die set with Noel Mini Slimline Frame Etched Dies from the Christmas Flourish Collection and created this beautiful Christmas card for today’s inspiration.

Christmas Flourish have hints of flourish designs throughout its collection. Everything you’ll need to make a holiday greeting from thin metal cutting dies to a sweet embossing folder. Mix and match to create amazing card creations!

I have kept the backdrop and the label die simple so as to get the perfect pop of cardinals and to keep them in focus. I have chopped 2 lacy swirls with golden shadow from Joy Flourish Doily Etched Dies from the Christmas Flourish Collection and added them at the top and the bottom of the Mini slimline frame but kept them monochromatic in whites. The cardinal with the hat looked so cute.
