Good Morning All…

It’s mid-December and we are happy to wave goodbye to year 2019 with all sweet memories we had created the entire year along. Also, ready with lots of goals to welcome 2020.

Delhi is chilling cold nowadays. Though we are unfortunate to see snow here, the weather is comfortable enough to enjoy hot winter soups and some delicious mouth-watering Indian sweets. All my international friends must be busy making Chrismas Pies and decorating their houses to welcome Christmas with lots of family gatherings. I wish them all a Merry Christmas in advance. May the sparkle and joy of Christmas fill their hearts. I wish you all a season filled with happiness and merry-making.

For Wednesday’s weekly inspiration, I have this beautiful card to showcase using the latest Calla Lily Collection.

For more tips on creating with the Calla Lily Collection watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/VWKPoXjpiug.

Instructions: The ready side-fold card from smooth white cardstock measures, 51/2″ by 8″. Choose 2 coordinating pattern papers from the designer paper collection. Cut the plain paper measuring 5″ by 5 1/2″. Secure the Fluer Border die and cut a border as shown. Adhere the white fancy border from the back. Layer this paper on the printed pattern paper measuring 5″ by 7 1/2″, Glue the complete base on the white card stock making a white border of 1/16″ all around. Finally, layer the complete panel on the ready side fold card measuring 5 1/2″ by 8″.

For the focal window, cut a solid piece using an outer die from Eyelet Circle & Basics Small Die. Also cut a frame using Luxe Gold Cardstock as shown. To the frame stack, 2 extra die cuts to get extra strength. Using the next circle die from the set, cut printed solid circle and layer it as shown.

Stamp the focal image from Swan Lake Cling Stamp Set with black archival ink on smooth white cardstock and paint it beautifully using Zig Clean Clear Brush Markers. Once you are happy with the results cut the image using its coordinating die set. Shape the sawn and Calla Lilies a little and layer them on the focal circular panel as shown.

For the Calla Lilies, stamp the images from Calla Lily Stamp set with Magenta Hue and color them using Leaf Green and Magenta Hue. Cut them using its coordinating die and also shape them using its coordinating mold. Add stamen and form small bunches as shown. Using an adhesive that dries clear, add Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear powder and set them to dry. Complete the card by adding a sentiment from the paper collection.
