Good Morning All…

Continuing inspiring you with my creations using Amazing Paper Grace Elegant Twists Collection, I have 3 more cards to share. Again I have kept the theme of the cards very simple and instead of 3D flowers I have white heat embossed painted floral images.

For the first card, I used Elegant Twist Squares to create the background for my card. The inspiration for creating the background and keeping it in grey tones came from a pattern paper when I was flipping its pages to try something. I m sure…it might have happened with you many a time. Ahhhh…Ideas can pop up your mind from anything and anywhere.

I have created the backgrounds by glueing the twisted squares in diamond shape and scoring the inner suares. Once the backgroundc was complete I inked it using Hickorey Smoke and Black Soot Distress Inks.

To highlight the floral image, I used 2 twisted squares and adhered back to back. It really helped the floral image to pop on the inked card base.

For the second card, I created the background using distress inks, stamping techniques, and scoring. I used the Amazing Paper Die, Elegant Twist Rectangles to create this card. I added a gold shadow under the twisted rectangle die cut to highlight the floral image.

Here is my third and the final card for today. The top panel is inked with distress inks and cut using largest twisted square without the outer most die. The inner white panel is cut separately on white cardstock, the same way as we did on the top panel. A sleek gold die cut was added for an extra accent.

Here are all my cards together. All the floral images are white heat embossed on water color paper and painted using Zig Clean Clear Brush Markers.

    Hello,

What stamp and die set did you use to make your cards with the Elegant Twist dies?

    Thanks.

Thanks for stopping by. I have used Stamp Market stamp, Friendly Bunch. I have watercolored it and then hand fussy cut it with scissors. Hope that helps.
