Good Morning and welcome back again…!!

Today. I am back again with Heartfelt inspiration for their latest release, Camelia Carnation Collection. As much as I know, Carnations are called flowers of Love. So if you’re trying to impress your sweetheart, these could be a good option to go for. We can easily find various color varieties of Carnations. I don’t know why I created purple Carnations….might be because I was hooked on shades of purples past few months.

Videos Refereed: For more tips on creating with the Camelia Carnation collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/rhk76SAIgWQ
For more tips on creating with the border dies & foldout cards, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/wxX94X84kUo.

Instructions: The ready side-fold card measures 6″ by 8″. Cut another card layer measuring 51/2″ by 7 1/2″ from white cardstock and mat it on the purple cardstock. Layer the both on the card base and stamp the sentiment on the right-hand corner using Deep Purple Archival Ink.

For the top layer, choose the pattern paper from the designer collection and cut a piece measuring 5 1/2″ by 5 1/4″. Cut the plain edge using Classic Border Die. Distress all the sides using Seedless Preserves. Cut one piece of the delicate border from Delicate Border Die and distress it using Seedless Preserves. Also cut a fancy border from the same die set and adhere both the borders as shown. Layer the patterned paper panel on the top white panel using foam dots.

Cut 2 pieces from Decorative Medallion Die from smooth white cardstock. Color the base of the Decorative Medallion Die with Seedless Preserves and stick the decorative white medallion on the top. Arrange them on the top card panel as shown.

For Camellia Carnation flowers, follow Emma’s video. I have used 6 petals of second largest petals to create one flower. The petals are first stamped with archival ink Plum and the colored using Leaf Green in the center and Deep Purple on the edges. The smaller florals are from Wildwood floral Collection. These are colored using Deep Purple archival ink and Harvest Color Box ink. The flowers and leaves are shaped using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. The leaves are stamped with Library Green and colored using Leaf Green and Olive Green and shaped using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. The flowers are then dressed in Crystal Clear Powder using Adhesive that dries clear.

Stamp 2 images from Fanciful Carnation Cling Stamp Set using black archival and cut them using it’s coordinating die. Color the image using Seedless Preserves and Leaf Green. Once all the elements are ready, assemble a small bouquet in the center as shown. To finish the card, dress all the elements with Crystal Clear Powder and some styrofoam buds.
