Instructions: The ready side-fold card from smooth white cardstock measures, 53/4″ by 8 1/2″. Choose the paper from the designer paper collection, Cottage Garden Collection and cut to size measuring 51/4″ by 8″. Distress all the sides with sharp scissors or paper distressing tool. To create an extra interest, tear the paper and roll them inwards to have some extra distressed looks. Glue the edges of a white die cut from Intricate Swirl Frames Die behind the distressed parts so that the die-cut pops out and shows well from the torn edges.

Next, prepare the front panel using Intricate Swirl Frames Die. Also, cut 2 die cuts from white cardstock using Petite Pocket Accents Die and glue them as shown and chop the extra die cut that is hanging out from the frame. Adhere to the prepared frame on the card panel.

Stamp the image of Hydrangea twig from Cottage Garden Hydrangea Cling Stamp Set using Cactus Flower, Forget Me Not and Olive Green archival ink and cut it using it’s coordinating die. Also, stamp and cut the loose Hydrangeas of both sizes multiple times and cut them using it’s coordinating die as well. Paint them using Forget Me Not and Cactus Flower. Do color the back as well. Soak the petals in water for a few seconds in a bowl of water, damp them with a dry cloth and shape them using golf groove tools. Once shaped, press the center from the front. Pierce the center and glue tiny pollen.

To prepare the Hydrangea, mound, color the stamped Hydrangea using Forget me Not and Cactus Flower and shape the mound from the back. Next, fill the mound gluing shaped Hydrangeas. The leaves of the stem are colored using leaf green and olive green Archival ink.

Finally, assemble the card as shown and add the sentiment from the same paper collection. Add a little sparkle by adding crystal clear powder using an adhesive that dries clear.
