Good Evening Friends,

It’s December thirty-first…Year 2016 is almost at its end and we are stepping into a new year. Firstly, I wish you all A Very Happy New Year. May coming year brings you loads of fun and fabulous crafty activities.

Past one year I was too packed with my Dt work schedules and classes and was hardly able to do something to satisfy my own self. Though I enjoyed creating many new projects but was never able to participate along any of the challenge which tempted me on my way. I was very happy to see A Year In Review Inspiration Challenge for December 2016 by Altenew., where we could take inspiration from any of the previous challenges of the year. I specially took out little time to try my hands on Altenew Beautiful Day Stamp Set to make a card for June Inspiration Challenge.

The jewels and sparkly dress….Lime green floral bouquet…The black banner of June 2016 and then little dark space behind the lady…..everything inspired me a little.

Here is what I came up with…

untitled-11

untitled-6

The card base is prepared by smushing Peeled Paint and Pumice Stone Distress inks on the craft mat and misting with water. It is also scored each time at 1/8th of an inch to add little more happening to the base without disturbing the focal image. The flowers from Beautiful Day stamp set are heat embossed with golden heat embossing powder and painted using Zig Clean Clear Markers and cut with its coordinating die. For the leaves, I have used Green Field Dye inks sets by Altenew. The white twigs are from Golden Garden Stamp Set and the sentiment stamp is from Label Love Stamp Set. The complete floral bouquet sits on the white die cut from Die-namics Stitched Circle Frame. I have further enhanced the card using the sequence from Papericious and crystal clear glitter.

Entering this card to Altenew’s December Challenge
