Videos Referred: For more tips on creating with the Wild Rose Collection watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/2ALPhFnT-qI.
Instructions: The ready top fold card from smooth white cardstock measures, 51/2″ by 8″. Choose the pattern papers from the designer paper collection and cut 5″ by 7 1/2″ paper. Next glue the paper on the white cardstock making a white border of 1/16″ on all sides. Next, add another layer of card panel using coordinating papers and finally layer the card on the ready cardstock using double-sided tapes.
Hand tear the green papers and add two more layers as shown. Add white die-cut border from sweetheart border die for extra interest.
Cut the doily using Rounded Window Frame Die, distress is using Aged Mohaghany Distress Ink and layer it on the ready card panel as shown. Using Circle Basics die, cut the scene from the designer paper collection and layer it on the inked doily, using foam dots.
For the wild roses, stamped the flower petals using Magenta Hue Archival ink and Large and Small Wild Rose Stamp die set and cut them using their coordinating dies. Ink the flowers using Magenta Hue, Cactus Flower and Leaf green and shape them using deluxe flower shaping kit. Once done assembling the flowers, prick the centers of the flowers and add small frosted thread stamens and glue them from the back. For tiny yellow fillers, follow the same steps using the smallest flower from the same collection and Buttercup Archival ink. Once done with the flowers, add Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter to the flowers for extra interest.
For vellum leaves, stamp 2-3 images with white pigment ink on the vellum, sprinkle white heat embossing powder, dust extras and heat set. Cut the images using a coordinating die set and color them using leaf green distress oxide. Also, shape them using needle tool.
Once all the elements are ready, assemble the card as shown and finish the card by adding a sentiment from the same collection.
This is so stunning Rajni! Your wild roses are gorgeous!
