Hello, All!!
Rajni Chawla here with another inspiration for Elizabeth Craft Designs. Today I created a slimline card using the latest Garden Party Collection, designed by Angelica Turner.
First, die cut the frames, 2 pieces each from white and gold cardstock using the Frame and Element die set and glue them together, a little off-center keeping golden on the bottom.
Next, cut 2 pieces of inside panels using Intended Rectangles and dry emboss them using an embossing folder. Ink both the panels using distress inks and give the panels a bit of a vintage look. Next, glue the panels to form a slimline panel. Also, cut a white frame from Intended Rectangles and layer it on the top front of the card to hold the sentiment and the flower bouquet.
Glue the ready lacy frames on the bottom of the inked panel and layer them on the card front as shown.
For flowers, I have used Wildflower 2. The petals are simply inked in the center using Leaf Green Archival ink and embossed using Golf Groove tools. The tiny filler flowers come from the same set of dies and the foliage is from Greenery Fillers 1 and Floral Greenery 1.
A simple sentiment, cut in gold mirror cardstock using Everyday Word 1 Completes the card.
Here are a few more close-ups for more detail.
