The newly launched Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimline’s Collection by Becca Feeken has surely created a buzz in the craft industry. These beautiful and intricate dies are so versatile and can create stunning flowered slimline cards. The side perspective flower release has easy-to put together flowers with lots of buds options that make it easy to form some really beautiful bouquets.

Flowers make me sing and heal deep inside my heart. The bright and cheerful colors of tulips make me happy. I love creating spring cards for family and friends in advance and using them when needed. Becca again nailed it and blessed us with another beautiful collection. My today’s projects are created using dies which I got from the company as a design team.

I wanted to create a dark backdrop for my bright and cheerful tulips. I hardly have ever used blacks on my cards. so wanted to try it for sure. It was challenging for sure to balance the pop of such bright tulips but I was really amazed to see how the projects turned out.

My Projects for Today

I created 2 cards and a coordinating basket using Half Slimline Oval Etched Dies from the Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimlines Collection by Becca Feeken and Layered Tulips Etched Dies from the Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimlines Collection by Becca Feeken.

I kept the basket simple which has die-cuts wrapped around the bottom. Also, I joined the 2 die-cuts of Half Slimline Oval Etched die set to create the fancy and beautiful handle for the basket. The sentiment, Beautiful comes from the same die set, and stamped “you” from my Altenew stamp collection completes the sentiment. Both the cards and the basket are adorned using layered tulips from the Layered Tulips Etched Dies.

Finally, the beautiful butterfly from Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters 5 x 7″ Card Base Etched Dies completes the card.
