Good Morning Friends….

For today’s Heartfelt inspiration, I have Painted Florets Card using their latest release Oakberry Lane Collection. I so loved creating this card so resulted in creating two cards with little different color combinations in  florets.

Instructions: The ready side-fold card from Smooth white cardstock measures, 8″ by 5 1/2″. To create a top panel, I have used created 2 different backgrounds using designer papers. For the lower background choose the woodgrain paper and cut strips of 1/2″ by 6″ from different colored patterns. Distress both the long sides with a distressing tool and next glue the strips on white cardstock to create the background paper measuring 5′ by 6″. Neat the edges if necessary. For the top background, choose a matching paper from the same collection and cut it measuring 5″ by 3 1/2″. Cut the lower edge of the paper using Classic Border Basics Die. Distress all the edges with spiced marmalade distress ink and add fancy white borders from the same die. Next, cut a white cardstock measuring, 5 1/4′ by 7″. Keeping the striped background on the bottom, layer and overlap the top fancy edged panel, leaving a white border on all the sides. Cut another layer from golden paper and mat it behind the ready panel.

On a smooth white cardstock, stamp the floral image from Oakberry Lane Antics Cling Stamp Set using black Archival ink and paint the image using Zig Clear Brush Markers. Mat an extra die cut under the image to avoid any damage to the delicate parts of the floral cluster.

Cut a frame from golden mirror sheet by nesting 2nd and 3rd largest dies from Circle Basics Large Die. Layer the frame in the center of the top panel as shown. Further, layer the painted floral cluster as shown.

To add an extra interest, add white heat embossed vellum butterflies from Butterfly Medley Collection and finish the card by adding sentiment banner.
