Heartfelt Creation’s Project no. 3

Card Name: LET LOVE BLOOM

Showcasing my third and final project that I created for initial design team application. As my earlier two projects were elaborated with lots of details I tried to keep this one little simple. In this card, I am featuring HC Botanical Rose Stamp. I love this stamp. It’s beautiful etched gives me inspiration for painting….perfect for any type of water coloring oand heat embossing. Here is my try with you all.

Supplies from Heartfelt Creations:

Other Supplies:

Black Archival Ink, Distress inks- Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstic, Rusty Hinge, Pealed Paint and Scattered straw, Mini Mister, water color brush, Spellbinders die A2 curved border-1, Spellbinders Classic circle die, perfect pearls, scoring board, glue dots, enamel dots, natural color twine and paper.

Instructions:

The front panel is 5″ by 6 1/2″ . Squeeze down Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstic and Rusty Hinge on craft sheet. Sprinkle little water using mini mister ,roll the paper in and  heat set. You can repeat the step if not satisfied. Once you are satisfied sprinkle little pefect pearl mixed water. Again heat set. Stamp few images with black archival rendomly using HC Botanical Rose stamp. I love this technique of mine for creating backgrounds. Lift the color back with watercolor brush from the stamped images. This will create a beautifull monochromatic background. Cut the panel using Spellbinders Die A2 Curved Border-1. Adhere an extra cut piece with same die on the base of cut panel and fix the panel using glue dots on on white card stock which is already scored at 1/8″every time.
Stamp an image with Botanical Rose stamp using black Archival, Painit it using Spun Sugar, Scattered  Straw, Worn Lipstic, Picked Raspberry and pealed paint and then fussy cut. Nest 3rd and 4th dies from Spellbinders Classic circle and adhere the fussy cut image using glue dots on the card panel. The sentiment banner is simply cut  n layered on white cardstock and it is from HC designer Butterfly Medley Collection. Butterfly is simply stamped, fussycut and hand painted with distress inks. Complete a card by tying a bow with natural twine and a small flower from Botanical Wings Die and Botanical Rose stamp. The flower is shaped using HC Delux Flower shaping kit.

I tried catching the shimmer which was made by simply misting water mixed with perfect pearl in this close-up. i avoided giving much details on butterfly too.

I just ended up my card using few enamel dots which are beautifully filling the empty space and without disturbing the focal image of the card.

With darker background….
