Videos Referred: For more tips on creating with the Butterfly Dreams collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/uCKKJfAQFHA.

Instructions: To start with, cut a piece of smooth white cardstock measuring 12″ by 8″. Score at 6″ on the longer side to create a side fold card measuring 6″ by 8″. For the first layer, choose the paper from the designer paper collection and cut 51/2″ by 71/2″. For the topmost layer, cut an orange-paper measuring 51/4″ by 71/4′. Cut the lower edge with Decorative Medallion Die and adhere a white fancy die cut on the top. Now layer the orange panel on the ready card base.

Cut 3 pieces of white die cut frames using Eyelet Oval & Basics Small Die and stack them together. Adhere a fancy panel behind the white die cuts to create the window. Layer this to the card base as shown.

For flowers, stamp Classic Sunflower Stamp set with white Hero Arts ink and sprinkle white heat embossing powder. Dust extras and heat set with a heating tool. Paint the petals with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide, let it settle it for a couple of minutes and then wipe off the extra ink with a napkin. Cut the petals using Classic Sunflower Die. Shape the petals by rolling each petal on a back of golf tool and glue the petals together using Aleen’s fast grab glue to form a Sunflower. Prick the center and pass the rock candy stamens and set them tight with hot glue.
For Lush Lilacs, white heat emboss the flower images from Lush Lilac Stamp Set and paint them with Seedless Preserves and Raspberry Pink Oxide Ink. Shape the flowers and add pink prills to the center using a glossy accent.

For Butterfly, White heat emboss 2 Butterflies on vellum and color them using Fossilized Amber. Cut them using their coordinating die. Shape them a little and layer them using Aleen’s fast grab glue. Heat set them again and sprinkle Twinkling Spark without wasting time. This will adhere the glitter only on the detailing of the stamp, keeping the color brighter as it is. Also, white heat emboss a small butterfly on vellum from Butterfly Medley Collection. Once all the elements are ready, assemble the card as shown.
