Hello Gracelets!!

You are about to fall in love with the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for July 2020 – Fanfare. This large filigree filled oval reminds us of an oval doily. The open aperture center works like a frame for images or even a shaker. Use only half to make it appear rounded or as a border or pocket. The fan motif can be cut, tucked in, or layered to create a number of embellishments in no time. Ahhhh, romance, can you ever get enough?

Thank you Becca Feeken with Amazing Paper Grace for the dies to use today.

Fanfare Details
Not only do you get the large romantic die that fits a 5×7” card or frame, you get a smaller fan motif die that will make corners or embellishments. Four flower dies allow you to create beautiful dimensional accents. What a great value, above and beyond the low kit price! But if you’re on the fence, use code JULY to get 10% off your first month, subscribe here! (New club subscriptions only, for a limited time.) Fanfare is a $45 value.

These are some ways to use Fanfare:

  1. As a Background
  2. As a Large Frame
  3. As a Shaker
  4. Make Corner Embellishments from the Fan motif
  5. Flowers
  6. Cut in half the short way to make a topper
  7. Cut in half the long way to make a border or edge

My projects using fanfare

My new designteam package which arrived recently gave me the kick start to craft again after a complete month of illness. I was lucky enough to join my team members with July month blog hop. For today’s blog hop, I have a set of 3 projetcs to share…..2 cards and one money wrap.

I love the versatility of APG dies. these can be chopped and coordinated with any previously released dies to create customized focal images for the projects.

Project 1: For the first card I have cut and arranged a gold die cut from S4-1035 to add a little special touch to the card center and gave a completely new look to the July die of the month, Fanfare. It really made the card elements pop out. Two gold fans chopped and ticked on the top and bottom looked beautiful. The tiny flowers are handmade by me which I made using the die which is included in the die set. The beautiful foliage is created using a die from the die set S4-867 and the sentiments used in all the three projects are from Die of the Month March,20.

Project: 2 For this card I used the Fanfare die to create the background for the card by not using the outer most die. The card center again has the touch of gold and is created using multiple fan motifs. The sentiment is aagain form March die of the month and foliage cut from S4-867.

Project: 3 Money Wrap with a Belly Band

I have folded the Fanfare in half, glued a vellum background and then created a bellyband using acetate sheet.

Lovely way to combine the new DOM with a past one!! The sentiments were wonderful as the center of each card! I truly loved how you combine so many of Amazing Paper Grace dies with each and used this Fanfare pieces throughout!! The first was my favorite with the “crowns” atop the centerpiece and the Hemstitched die as well! But your half frame card gave me great inspiration!! So many times it really makes more of an impression just to use part and that was great!! I think I would use this frame on a grand layout with one center with a photo and then others mimicking that one all around with positive words in their centers. Also, it will make a great shaker card so easily!! Super DOM addition!
