Good Evening, Friends!!

Today, we designers at Amazing Paper Grace are introducing their newest collection, Christmas Flourishes Collection. Christmas Flourish has hints of flourish designs throughout its collection. Everything you’ll need to make a holiday greeting from thin metal cutting dies to a sweet embossing folder. These can be mixed and matched to create amazing card creations.

The supplies for today’s inspiration came in my design team package from the company. For today’s inspiration, I am showcasing Flourished Ornament Slimline Etched Dies from the Christmas Flourish Collection by Becca Feeken. I was so tempted to use the beautiful traditional colors with pops of gold for this collection. I created one slimline Christmas card in my signature style……all glammed and framed with brights and the other card by prepping the background by chopping the slimline borders from the same die.

For the slimline card, I first prepared a few Christmas ornaments in traditional and gold colors using Flourished Ornament Slimline Etched Dies from the Christmas Flourish Collection (S6-201) and popped them on the dry embossed panel using the Holly Flourish 2D Embossing Folder from the Christmas Flourish Collection (SES-046). Next, I framed the panel using a slimline border in reds from the same die set.

The Christmas sentiment from Happy Occasion Words Etched Dies (S4-1206), a few snowflakes from Winter Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection (S4-1240), and a satin bow complete my card.

For my second card, I prepared half the background panel by chopping and using the slimline border couple of times. OMG….it looks so beautiful when combined with the new Christmas embossing folder.

I decorated the card with handmade poinsettias and foliage from Holiday Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection  (S4-1239)

Please ignore the glue marks on the card. Actually, those were not at all visible when seen personally. Since the background was embossed I couldn’t edit it either. My camera made me learn to take some extra care while working with black cardstock.
